Mainly, our services consist of the maintaining, modifying and building of race cars. Of course, taking into account the actual FIA rules and the originality of the car.

In addition, we provide customized service where needed during race and rally events worldwide.

Since 2004 Tachyon Motorsport has actively joined in both historical and contemporary racing. Founder / owner Maarten Buitenhuis, raised in a family in which Alfa Romeo played a major role, has gained a lot of experience in national and international touring car championships. He combined both the passions with contemporary engineering experience when he founded the company / Tachyon Motorsport.

Maarten gathered some enthusiastic professionals, like technician Donald Bramer, who has strengthened Tachyon Motorsport since 2010 and now serves as Operational Manager. Donald gained his experience with touring car racing, the Spyker Squadron, Le Mans and endurance racing. He may rightly be called ‘mister fix-it’.

Within the Tachyon team there is a lot of knowledge and expertise with classic Alfa Romeos, BMWs and Porsches, but also with classic Mustangs and Corvettes. The fact that Tachyon Motorsport received a request from the United States a few years ago to run a European race program with an Alfa Romeo Tipo 33, tells everything about the fame and quality of the organization.

Tachyon Motorsport is part of the Tachyon Group which deals with many different sorts of engineering and construction and therefor have customers around the world. The broad knowledge and innovative urge in these companies also plays a key role in our sports activities. That makes us absolutely unique and both extra efficient and successful.
