A weekend to be proud of at Circuit Park Zandvoort
September 19th, 2023Recapping the Trophy of the Dunes weekend at the CM.com Circuit Zandvoort, it was a weekend with a silver lining.
While our ultimate goal was to stand on the top step of the podium, and we would have loved to achieve that, our journey from P15 to P2 in Race 1 of the Mazda MX5 Cup was truly commendable.
The competition was incredibly close once again, with positions ranging from P4 to P14 within half a second. Securing a top 5 ranking or starting outside the top 10 came down to the smallest of details. It was our responsibility to fine-tune those details because in terms of speed, Daan de Graaff, Timo de Graaff, and Kaloyan Varbitzaliev performed exceptionally well throughout the weekend.
